Description: For our Acacia Carneros Chardonnay, Acacia has established long-term contracts with farmers whose expertise is growing high quality Chardonnay grapes. From the head-trained vines of Madonna Vineyard on Duhig Road to the California sprawl on Sangiacomo's ranch on the Sonoma side of Carneros, the different soils, clones and trellis systems contribute to the diversity of flavors we see within our cellar. This diversity ultimately translates to complexity in the wine. For A by Acacia Chardonnay, we were lured by the exotic tropical fruit flavors found in Monterey, Paso Robles and Santa Maria Valley, and a touch of ginger spice from Carneros.
