A refugee from both the computer and the book industries, I found my way to wine and food as a release from the stress of everyday life. I love the history of what we consume and the magical combinations that can create a sum greater than its' parts when you put the right food and wine together. As a sommelier I love exploring the world of wine, especially the history and the growth of varietals and styles that have led to the wonderful wines of today. I like sharing that information and learning something new, with anyone who will listen, especially over a good bottle and perhaps a small cheese plate or a few marcona almonds.
